What’s on in February 2017

February is upon us and the snowdrops are poking their heads through the cold frosty ground.  We have some music, laughter and food for the brain, to lift your spirits as we head for the spring.  Remember that February is the month for snowdrop walks (see last months post for details) across the Scottish Borders.  This year we are delighted that photographer Jim Gordon has offered us some of his wonderful photo’s for our blog.  You can see more of his photo’s on Twitter @JimGordon46 or buy his prints on Ebay (jimgordon2010).

Willie and the Bandits at St Boswells Live 24 February 7.30pm

Blues Rock supergroup Willie and the Bandits make a rare stop in Scotland to raise the roof with cracking songs and powerful music.  One of the best live bands in the country.   Tickets £12 from Music Glue website

 

Agapanathus Duo in concert Sunday 26 February, 2.30pm Tower Mill, Hawick

Well known popular duo Jim Letham (piano) and Andrew Sherwood (violin) at Hawick Music Club to entertain with their unique style and musicianship.  Tickets £10, under 18s free. T:01450 360688.
